April 11-15 was Western week at Tristan's school. On monday, the kids got to dress up like a cowboy/cowgirl. Of course, I was excited about dressing Tristan up and had his outfit ready a month in advance. Unfoturnately, Tristan was one of the ONLY kids to dress up in his classroom, so he probably felt like an outcast - jk. Mainly the older kids at Tristan's school dressed up, but I still believe Tristan was absolutely cute as a cowboy. The kids were in a parade later that afternoon and Tristan sat in front of his wagon since he was the cutest :) I posting a picture of him in his cowboy outfit during the class parade.
On April 20 we went to Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia. Tristan spent time with his mommy and daddy, uncle Tommie, Nana (my mom), and my grandparents came as well. Tristan did very well for his first zoo experience and got to see many animals! Tristan enjoyed the fish the most, his grandpa would be proud!! Tristan got to pet a goat, see a giraffe up close, ride the carousel, see penguins and fish, and have the opportunity to poor a drink on ME! Overall, it was a great day :)
